DJiT announces the full availability of the breakthrough DJ app edjing Mix for both iOS and Android

A Few days after its successful release on the App Store, edjing Mix is now available on Android. The famous DJ app voted “Best App of the Year” in 2013, 2014 and 2015 on the Google Play Store comes with a host of new features, including a drum pad sampler, a reworked interface that simplifies use and an even more powerful audio system, and thus becomes the ultimate app for beginners and pros alike.

Paris. Today DJiT, a leader in next-generation music apps for iOS and Android, announces the release of its most advanced edjing version ever on Android. This 6th edition of edjing is now called edjing Mix and provides an unprecedented performance level to mix music on mobile like never before.

Drum pad sampler

edjing Mix includes a brand new inbuilt sampler with colored drum pads on each deck. This feature, a must-have usually found on physical DJ hardware, enables users to trigger high-quality sample sounds on top of their music on the fly, giving creativity a greater role. In addition, users have the possibility to link each sampler to their crossfader, and can control each sampler volume separately. edjing Mix natively includes 16 free creative samples, offering a wide range of possibilities.

Leading-edge interface

To improve the mixing experience on tiny screens, edjing Mix introduces a brand new interface that makes its manipulation easier. This new realistic interface has been thought to simplify all controls and save time, by giving a quick access to the main features.

Advanced Audio Technology

edjing Mix takes full advantage of the latest audio technologies. The Core Audio Engine behind edjing Mix goes deeper and provides stunning quality audio results, previously unseen on mobile devices. Users can now enjoy real-time audio effects, a perfect beat matching or an ultra-precise BPM calculation. Compatible on all platforms, this unique proprietary technology is available on both iOS and Android versions.

Compliant with both professionals and beginners requirements

All these innovations have been added to enable pro DJs to use edjing Mix as their main solution to perform, while allowing the general public to mix or learn the djing practice even more easily. For that, DJiT worked with pro DJs and a large beta testers community.

Keeping  all the tools that made edjing successful

With the integration of Deezer and SoundCloud, edjing Mix gives access to the most extensive music library in the world of DJ apps. It also includes all the DJ essentials, such as plenty of audio FX, hot cues, pitch and many more. All that, with the possibility to share one’s best mixes on all social media directly via the app.

Jean-Baptiste Hironde, CEO of DJiT: “We used our years of experience, particularly our work on edjing Pro, to create this version that, for the first time, meet both professional and hobbyist requirements. We’re eager to see our millions of fans using edjing Mix, the reference of mobile mixing.”
